We are the ONLY official Krav Maga training center in the Spokane area!
What it isn't - a rigid martial art structured around kata's, uniforms, hierarchy, and ancient mystical techniques that serve little purpose today.
Make no mistake. What you learn at Krav Maga Spokane is practical, efficient, and designed for one thing and one thing only: To make sure you and your loved ones get home safe.
Some students find it hard to effectively use striking combinations and angles after they complete the self defense in Krav Maga. These classes will help with that as well as help increase the students' striking, accuracy, strength, fluidity and most importantly how to get off the "X".
The key in a street fight when brought to the ground is to defend yourself and get back to your feet as soon as possible. Learn how to strike effectively from the ground, avoid and defend common submissions and get back to your feet.

Cardio Bag Classes
Being able to throw a punch, land a kick, or defend yourself is only half the battle. If you're too out of shape to sustain your attack, then what's the point? That's why we offer options designed to bring your fitness to the next level.
Cardio Bag: Cardio Bag classes are centered around sustained punches, kicks, and knees intermixed with body weight exercises, kettlebell work, running, sprints, odd object carriers and other functional fitness exercises. They may be short but trust us, they are brutal.
When Brayson moved back to Spokane, WA he saw an opportunity to live out his dream and open his own Krav Maga training facility. In July of 2009, Brayson became the first instructor to bring Krav Maga to Spokane. As the only full time instructor in Spokane, Brayson has made it his mission to bring true Krav Maga techniques to the Inland Northwest. For Brayson, Krav Maga is not simply a hobby, it’s his life.
Mikaella Croskrey
Mikaella Croskrey was born and raised in Spokane and found KMS while she was in college. After seeing the positive impact that the instructors at the gym had on her and the other students, she knew that she wanted to join their rank. One of her favorite aspects of Krav Maga is that it teaches that you can always do something to protect yourself. Krav Maga has become an integral part of her life and she plans to continue moving up in belt levels as a practitioner and instructor so that she can help the people around her to live their best lives.
Jak Oritt
Oh hi, I didn’t see you there! My name is Jak, one of your beginners instructors! I’ve been coming to KMS for six years now and can honestly say it’s changed my life! When I’m not at the gym, I’m out in the community working as a full time sign language interpreter. I look forward to seeing you in class and helping you reach your goals! If I had to pick a favorite technique to teach, I would have to say ground work defenses. It’s scary to have a fight go to the ground, and I love teaching proper movement, and all the weapons a person has available to them when in that position, as well as how to disengage from a ground fight and safely get up to your feet and out the nearest exit!
Earl Ardales
Earl started training in 2013 at Krav Maga NOVA just outside of Washington, D.C., where he earned his Orange Belt in 2015. He was originally drawn to Krav Maga because it offered an extensive combatives training program that he could use to stay safe during his numerous worldwide military deployments. One of the first things he did upon moving back to Spokane was join Krav Maga Spokane, eventually becoming an instructor in 2021. Since retiring from the US Air Force as an instructor pilot, he looks forward to putting his teaching skills to use in every one of his Krav Maga classes.
Brian Scissons
I've been involved in sports my whole life, Basketball, Football, Baseball, Track, and Bodybuilding. Always wanted to do some form of self defense as I loved the physical challenges of athletics and wanted something challenging and something to train for life. Tried a few different self defenses, but nothing spoke to me. Then I came to Krav and absolutely loved the system and instructors, so much that I wanted to become an instructor to be able to pass on the knowledge, helping students prepare for life situations and be in better shape.
